Chicken Tikka
The most famous barbecue cuisine that everyone loves to munch on is chicken tikka. Because of its spicy and curry base taste, it occupies a special place in the hearts of spice lovers. Many barbecue restaurants are famous in Pakistan just because of their signature chicken tikka recipe. Most people prefer homemade chicken tikka. It takes only 30 minutes to prepare at home.
The ingredients required for this recipe are:
- Boneless chicken
- Tomato paste
- Coriander
- Paprika
- Plain yogurt
- Lemon juice
- Salt
- Garlic, ginger paste
- Cumin
- Chili flakes
To prepare chicken tikka the first step is the preparation of marinade. For this purpose mix all the ingredients except the chicken in a bowl and keep them in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning wash and cut the chicken into cubes and mix with marinade. Cover and leave for at least 4 hours.
After four hours remove the chicken from the refrigerator and back in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Spray with butter or olive oil and serve with ketchup.
Lahori Chargha
Lahore is home to Pakistani traditional cuisines. And Lahori chargha is one of the most famous barbecue dishes which has worldwide popularity. The whole chicken equipped with traditional flavors of spices is a perfect choice to serve as a night meal. Almost all the barbecue spots offer this special dish. You can enjoy this yummy barbecue cuisine at home within 30 minutes. But it requires some early preparations.
The main ingredients include:
- Whole chicken
- Chili powder
- Vinegar
- Lime juice
- Garlic and ginger paste
- Egg
- Yogurt
- Yellow color
- Kosher salt
- And all spices powder
To marinate the chicken, wash it thoroughly and make deep cuts with the help of a knife. Mix all the ingredients in a large pot. Now thoroughly apply this mixture over the chicken. Keep it in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. Take out from the refrigerator and steam until the complete evaporation of water. Fry in hot oil till the golden appearance.
Serve with yogurt or any other seasoning.
Chicken Seekh kebab
This minced chicken recipe is famous for its mouthwatering taste and aroma. It is very easy to make yummy seekh kebabs at home. Because it did not take many preparations. The ingredients of these extra delicious kebabs are:
- Minced chicken
- Eggs
- Cashew nuts
- Cumin
- Yellow and white pepper powder
- Frying oil and vegetable oil
- Garlic and ginger paste
- Onions and coriander
Mix all the ingredients with minced chicken except oil. Left for 10-20 minutes to settle. Now wet your hands and wrap this mixture around the skewers.
Cook over a charcoal grill for 5-10/minutes. Brush with butter or vegetable oil and serve.
Seekh kabab masala
To enjoy the barbecue with delicious gravy, the seekh kabab masala is the ultimate choice for all the barbecue craving souls. Prepare the seekh kebabs as mentioned above. For gravy preparation you need onion, chili powder, all spices, cumin, yogurt, ginger, garlic paste, and green chili paste. You can also use chilli garlic sauce to boost the flavor. Heat oil in a pan and add all the ingredients. Cook until a fine míxture is ready. Now add the seekh kebabs, coconut milk, and green chilies. Allow simmering for 5 minutes. Garnish with ginger and coriander.
